The role
We are looking for an experienced Road Transport Driver Class 7 Radioactive Material to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of radioactive materials to various locations while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Key responsibilities
- Safely transport Class 7 radioactive material to destinations in accordance with regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain a temperature controlled environment within the vehicles for the transportation of sensitive goods.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with all GDP guidelines.
- Actively contribute to our commitment to sustainability within the transportation process.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to provide customer-focused solutions and ensure smooth processing of shipments.
What we’re looking for
- Valid B driving license and relevant experience in road transportation. CE driving license is a plus.
- ADR training certificate specifically for Class 7 radioactive material.
- Proven experience with and knowledge of GDP guidelines.
- Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility in working hours and willingness to sometimes work weekends or holidays.

Why Isologic?

All necessary permits
We hold all permits needed to transport ADR-classified goods throughout Europe.
For Class 7 (medical isotopes, radiopharmaceuticals, and industrial sources), we operate under national transport licenses in countries including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Spain.
For Class 1 (explosives for civil and industrial applications), we hold the required transfer permits and Article 17 permits under Dutch explosives legislation, issued both to management and to operational staff.
Fully trained drivers
Our drivers are specifically trained for the transport of dangerous goods. They hold all required ADR certifications and complete refresher training at least every five years.
Drivers who operate in Germany also hold the Befähigungsschein (including Section 20/7) for the transport of explosives under German law.
All staff work with full personal protective equipment, including dosimeters for monitoring radiation exposure. Safety always comes first.
Specialized, modern fleet
Our fleet covers every size category, from vans to full trucks. All vehicles are equipped for international ADR transport.
For Class 7, we operate vehicles with lead shielding between the cab and the cargo area.
For Class 1, we use EX II and EX III–certified vehicles suitable for the safe transport of explosives.
In addition, we have:
- High-risk vehicles with robbery alarms
- Gate-locks for enhanced cargo security
- Redundant track & trace systems with backup telephone links
- Double-manned vehicles for fast delivery within driving and rest time rules
Always within the secure air cargo chain
Isologic is a Regulated Agent (RA) and is listed in the EU air cargo security database. Our drivers hold ACN access passes and are authorized to enter secure airport cargo areas.
We also have extensive experience with transport under customs control, including clearance at borders and airports and the handling of T1 transit documents.
This keeps your shipment consistently within a secure, controlled air cargo chain from start to finish.
